How Can I Lose Fat Around My Belly Easily

Belly fat is becoming normal for everyone, especially for people working in the offices all the time by sitting in front of the systems whole day. For those people here are some tips. Take an inch tape and measure your belly size – if it is more than 40 for men and 35 for women, then it is harmful and this may result in cardiovascular diseases or diabetes or cancer.

And the naturally comes the question – how can I lose fat around my belly? The answer to that is quite simple and that is – exercising regularly and using a healthy diet. It will not only help you feel better, but you will also get rid of stomach fat. What you need right now is the desire to do it, and don’t quite half way through.

It’s very common that people ask themselves nowadays: “how can I lose fat around my belly?” Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place, and I will give you a few tips. Quite obviously, everything starts with the diet. Think about what you eat and how much you eat. An effective diet would contain low calorie products that would fill you in, but not give fat. Don’t just rapidly cut off on everything you eat, because that’s not a right way to getting slim.

You could also start doing weight lifting. Now women might think it’s too difficult or they don’t need muscles, but the truth is that it helps you to burn fat as well. If you train with weights it doesn’t necessarily mean you will get bigger or muscular – first you have to burn the fat. Eat a lot of grain foods to keep your body energize. Include them in your daily diet and exercise on daily basis.

Now about the alcohol. If you want to get rid of belly fat, then you need to watch out how much you drink, beer in particular. Drinking large amounts of alcohol regularly builds up fat in your body, which then shows up on your belly. And it’s not just beer, but wine, whiskey and vodka as well.

Well, that’s pretty much it. In the summary, I would like to say that you should spend less time wondering “how can I lose fat around my belly” and actually start doing something about it. You know, lots of people just keep thinking without doing anything, and I hope after reading this you will take some action.

Iowa! A Bike Rider’s Paradise

What do you do when much of the railroad route in your state is no longer needed for trains because other transportation options have taken the place of the railway? Well, in Iowa they turned many of their old, abandoned railroad beds into some pretty awesome, long paved biking trails. In fact, they’ve converted more miles of railroad beds into biking trails than any other state in the union. And-just like the railways before them-these routes now encompass rocky terrain, hills, wide open praire, wooded areas and forests, and even cross over creeks and rivers, so there is lots to see in the Hawkeye state.

For a great family ride, check out the Wabash Trail located near Council Bluffs. With 25 miles of trail, it’s a nice easy ride on predominantly flat terrain and it’s not only relaxing, but it is also a great way to tour the area. In addition to beautiful scenery and countryside, there are some small towns with interesting places to visit along this route.

Sometimes called the “Brickyard,” a 7-mile route of biking trail officially named the Sycamore Trail includes lots of challenging loops with the main trail running beside the Des Moines River. Because of the close proximity to the river, in the springtime some of the trail can be underwater, so don’t ride here when the weather is still wet. You’ll enjoy steep, rocky climbs and drops plus some great technical obstacles to navigate-including deer on their way to drink at the river.

The Oleson Park Trail near Fort Dodge that have been designed and continually improved by Joker Racing. You’ll experience a really fast downhill section as well as some wet/dry creek crossings. The terrain is hilly, but nothing too difficult. There’s something here for everyone.

The Sugar Bottom Recreation Area includes a complete network of trails for inexperienced and advanced bikers alike. Many are one-way, so watch the signs or get a map. Altogether, the trails encompass 10-12 miles of riding and they’re nicely maintained. This is a popular area, though, so stay alert as it can be crowded at certain times of the year. Trails designed for advanced riders feature great technical features like tree roots and double backs.

If you want to try out the bike track that hosted the first MTB racing event in Iowa, come to the Decorah Mountain Bike Trail System. For 14 miles you can test your endurance and skills on lots of different terrains and surfaces including dirt track and rocks, with more rocks and roots to navigate and some steep inclines and rapid descents just to name a few of the challenges.

The Lewis and Clark Trail near Council Bluffs is a variety of trails that are not for the faint of heart! There’s plenty of technical stuff to keep you hopping–steep climbs, roller coaster descents, twists and turns, obstacles, and much more. There are plenty of trails to choose from, about 7 miles worth. If one seems too difficult, there are usually several bailout points along the way. The trails usually aren’t too busy, but watch out for hikers, especially on weekends.

Yes, Iowa may very well be a mountain biker’s idea of paradise. Certainly a state that includes more than 1,200 miles of trails has got to pique your interest, too! So visit Iowa and check out the many miles of great trails. You’ll be glad you did.

Facing Cancer And Lifestyle Changes. Are You Brave Enough?

One of the reasons that the number of cancer suffers has increased is the fact that more people undergo routine screening and early detection has increased the number of sufferers. Health care workers estimate that the USA has ten million cancer sufferers, which represents a figure between three and four percent of the population.

However, it does not alter the fact that cancer survivors have a higher risk for developing serious conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis as well as secondary cancers. As a general rule, physical exercise, eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and reducing a fat and sugar intake will offer significant protection against most serious conditions. Interestingly recent research has indicated that increasing the amount of exercise reduce the risk of secondary breast cancers.

Yet the fact is that most cancer patients do not significantly change their lifestyle after being cured. Most of the breast cancer risk factors described is related to a womans exposure to estrogen including early menstruation, late menopause which increases the total amount of monthly cycles. Risks are reduced when a woman has an early first birth and an early menopause.

In 2005 by Holmes MD, Chen WY, Feskanich D, Kroenke CH, Colditz GA studied 2987 women diagnosed with stage I, II or III breast cancer they found that an increase in exercise reduced the amount of deaths from cancer. The most improvement was found in those women that walked for between three and five hours a week. Results were positive from a study by Pierce JP, Stefanick ML, Flatt SW et al (2007) entitled Greater survival after breast cancer in physically active women with high vegetable-fruit intake regardless of obesity; indicated that the combination of consuming at least five servings of fresh vegetables or fruits and increasing their physical activity to at least half an hour a day for six days a week increased the number of women who survived estrogen positive receptor tumors. However other studies have not reported a difference.

In women with estrogen receptor positive breast cancer, research have shown a positive link between treatment failure and high intakes of fat both saturated fat and polyunsaturated fat. The fresh start trial studied newly diagnosed breast and prostate cancer patients and it found that directly mailing patients to encourage a healthy lifestyle including eating less fat, more fruit and vegetables than other conventional methods. More research is needed because it would indicate the fact that newly diagnosed cancer patients have sufficient fear to make meaningful changes in their way of life it is no means certain that all health care staff promote such changes.

As isolated as you may feel right now, you are not alone. Cancer diagnosis is just the beginning of your story. Cancer survivors prove every day that this can be the beginning of a whole new positive chapter in your life. Asbestos: A Natural but Hazardous Mineral

Most people who are born 40 years ago may define asbestos as a substance that is man-made and dangerous to the public health. This is slightly untrue because asbestos is not made by factories but it can definitely cause serious illnesses to human beings.

Asbestos is not man-made substance but a naturally-occurring mineral found in almost all continents around the world. It is still mined in several countries like Canada and Russia. Other countries have completely banned the mining of asbestos due to its lethal effects to humans.

Asbestos is a group of fibrous minerals with long and thin fibers. Its heat resistant and inextinguishable properties made it suitable material for insulation and other industrial products. 2 kinds of asbestos are serpentine variety (asbestos with curly fibers like chrysotile) and amphibole variety (asbestos with straight and needle-like fibers such as: amosite, crocidolite, tremolite, actinolite, and anthophyllite). Chrysolite is the only asbestos type mined widely and large scale.

How Does Asbestos Cause Problems to Health?

When fibers and dust from asbestos were inhaled, they remain inside the body and penetrate tissues to create a build-up that can cause development of severe health problems. Fibers that are lodged in the body will cause inflammation that may turn to malignant tumors; particularly on the mesothelium or the membrane that surrounds the lungs, abdomen, and the heart. Other diseases may include asbestosis and several types of cancer: lung, throat, esophagus, gallbladder, kidneys, intestines, and colon.

Exposure to Asbestos

Approximately, there are 3,000 commercial products that contain asbestos. The friable asbestos poses the highest risk of exposure because it is dry and can be easily crumbled by hand. Friable asbestos is mainly used as fireproofing material sprayed on buildings worldwide. However, even non-friable asbestos also releases tons of fibers; particularly when products are sanded, chopped, cut, hammered ” and when buildings are torn down.

Occupations that expose individuals to asbestos include: textiles production, firefighting, ship building, construction and building work, dry walling, demolition work, and auto mechanics that involves brake repair.

What are the Symptoms of Diseases Caused by Asbestos?

Symptoms of illnesses related to asbestos typically appear after many decades, about 30 to 50 years or so. Depending on the spread and condition of the disease, symptoms may include: chest pain, swelling, coughing, hoarseness, breathing difficulties, loss of appetite, weight loss, and fatigue. People who develop any of these symptoms and have history of asbestos exposure must seek medical help immediately.
