Securing safety at home is crucial when times are hard. I, together with my husband, opened a small grocery store in the city. Our daily routine includes meeting our suppliers very early, man our grocery store the whole day and do the inventory upon closing time.
In essence, nobody is usually left at home. One of our most important priorities is our safety at home. So even if we were preoccupied with our business, we still allotted time to buy a security camera.
We thought of getting an IP camera device. IP cameras are security cameras that they can directly be plugged into a computer or DVR.
Between the Wired or Wireless Indoor IP Camera, we decided to get the latter because even if the former posed no recharging needs, the wireless could be positioned in very strategic locations.
We got the latter as I was able to save a lot in my system cost because these IP cameras do not require additional hardware. We installed it inside a table cabinet, perfectly angled to have a good view of the door and the living room.
We consulted a specialist on how we could maximize the device to ensure our safety at home. He said we could install more cameras in other parts of the room as the setup and viewing software that comes with the device can accommodate up to 16 cameras.
For me, the best benefit I get from having either a Wired or Wireless Indoor IP Camera is that I can monitor my house even when I am at our grocery store through a networked remote site. It also allows me to play back what has been recorded.
When I am out, I receive email notifications via my phone when motion is detected by the IP camera. Truly, your safety at home should never be compromised because we can never tell when a mugger will strike.
