Always Feeling Tired?

Are you always feeling tired? I know the feeling and there are many others that do too. At least you are trying to do something about it. The first thing that you need to do is visit your doctor. They will be able to tell you if there is anything physically wrong with you.

I have suffered from always feeling tired for many years but I didn’t do anything about it. I thought that nobody could do anything. In the end I did visit the doctor. Like I thought they weren’t able to help but at least it ruled a lot of things out. For a while I didn’t know what to do. I decided to help myself get better and advise you do the same but only following your visit with your doctor.

If you are to help yourself then you need to be motivated. If you weren’t always tired then what would you be doing? These things can be your goals. Write each of them down as you think about them. You can use these as your motivation.

Now order all your ideas and just concentrate on the top one. When do you want to achieve this by? Now think of a reward that you can give yourself if you manage to do it. It doesn’t have to be big and you might find just doing the activity is a good enough reward. You have to want to accomplish it though.

Once you have that big goal that you want to achieve then you need to think about all the things that you can do to achieve it. These activities will be different depending on your overall goal but will all help with preventing you from being always tired. They can be things like eating better foods, getting up at the same time each day, go for walks etc.

Now each day you only concentrate on these individual tasks with your final goal in the back of your mind. This way you don’t get overwhelmed by the big task of not always feeling tired.

Raw Food For Improved Health

We all eat raw food to some degree. Your basic salad is raw food and if you have ever had a large salad for a meal, you know it can be very filling and satisfying. When you are eating crudites at a party are also. Of course these foods consist of more than just crunchy vegetables. There are also fruits, legumes, seeds, nuts, seaweed, whole grains and sprouts.

Normally the vitamins and minerals in food are mostly cooked out. Enzymes in food begin to break down at just 106 degrees. Ideally, we would like to get all of our vitamins and minerals from our food but with cooking it just isn’t possible. In reality we need to take supplements to get all that we need. You just need less if your food isn’t cooked.

Food naturally has enzymes in them that actually help us digest the food we eat. When the food is cooked above 106 degrees the enzymes start to break down. Higher than 116 and they are gone completely. Your body has to do its best to break down the food and process it but not as effectively and it will not get all the vitamins available in the food.

One of the things we all hear regularly is that we need more fiber in our diets. A high fiber diet has been found to possibly help prevent diseases such as heart disease and cancer. Most food is overcooked and loses much of its fiber content. The fiber helps clean the intestinal tract which leads to more needed nutrients being absorbed into our bodies. This also helps increase immune system functioning.

As a weight loss diet, eating raw is great. There is plenty of fiber and whole foods without sugar, white flours, or additives and preservatives. All this leads to weight loss. Your digestive system functions more efficiently and your metabolism increases. With this diet you will not be hungry since you can eat as much as you like.

After eating a meal you may feel some tiredness. This is because it takes longer to digest cooked food than food that is uncooked. It can take up to 100 hours depending on what food has been consumed. You feel more energy after a raw meal. It may take as little as 24 hours for the full digestive process to complete.

Overall a raw food diet offers many benefits. It can help you lose weight. It can help prevent certain diseases and help build your immune system. Your digestion improves and you get more from your food. The vitamins, minerals and enzymes are all available to you as they should be. The diet does not have to be all or nothing. Consider just increasing your intake of raw food. Ideally you would eat 100 percent but 50 to 75 percent will show a significant health improvement.
